New this year - May 5, 12, & 19 (10 - 11am)
SFSC will offer Power & Edge Clinic to help skaters realize the full power and stamina they can obtain through proper use of edges and off-ice conditioning. Skaters will spend an intense hour training to improve their performance, whether their goal is testing or competing. SFSC coaches, Catherine McQuade and Julie Pondelli, bring extensive on-ice coaching and fitness experience. The clinic will be a concentrated workout and will provide skaters with an understanding of the importance of proper edge use, strength and stamina as fundamental tools for putting together an effective skating performance.
Access to the clinic is limited to Pre-Preliminary moves (Freestyle 1) or UA-10 Hockey and higher. The size of the class will be limited to 20 skaters for safety reasons. Skaters from any organization welcome.
Clinic fees: $60 pre-paid for all 3 sessions. Walk-on $22 a session, space premitting
